So I'm just going through all of the clothing companies that I have bookmarked in the past, and I thought there might be some of interest to you guys potentially... weird that I'm directing your attention to rival businesses, but I'm nice like that!

I must confess that I just got around to taking advantage of their 3 for 2 promotion, which I planned on doing ages ago. Getting three tees for the prices in question is great, but be warned... the postage costs ramp the overall price up slightly! They haven't released anything new in ages (like us :P), and their blog was last updated in March, so God knows what they are doing these days... hopefully I still actually get my tees!
I just recently discovered the work of http://www.vfclothing.com/, which is the brainchild of a guy over in America. I particularly like his recent Darwin-inspired tee, and I’d snap it up in a heartbeat if it was a UK-based company… after a bad experience in which I got screwed over money-wise importing clothes from across the pond, I’ve been put off the idea of ever doing it again. But yeah, this guy seems to be bringing a sophistication to the whole thing, which is awesome!

So the ideas for the new line have pretty much been settled upon by Deano and I, meaning that we are getting close to the exciting bit of using your work! The current plan sees us pushing four concepts towards actual "designage", and we are confident that they will look good both individually, as well as as a unit. There may also be one or two items that Deano and I are sorting out amongst ourselves!
Basically, keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook / blog / site, because we are planning on distributing the design briefs by next weekend at the latest. I think the current plan Deano and I established was to assign an artist to a design on a first-come-first-served basis, on the precondition that we see their previous work and think that it is what we are looking for (if this isn't the plan, we'll let you know). So yeah, if you think you will want to get involved, it might be a good idea to have your work in a form that is easily accessible to us.

As you may have seen on the ol' Facebook newsfeed, we shall soon have some classic tote bags for all you lot to get your teeth into! They will be incorporating the Float On graphic, which was a plan that has existed for a long time... Deano placed the order today, so we will let you know when they can be expected. At a complete and utter guess, I'm assuming a couple of weeks :/
In the meantime, Deano and I are basically plotting for the next range, and kinda bouncing ideas off each other... at this early stage, there is a possibility of getting some script involved for new tees, as well as some more animal-themed stuff. The use of American Apparel is still being explored too, which both Deano and I are very keen to use.
So yeah, it's pretty exciting... it may take a little bit longer than we would ideally like, but we want to make sure everything is right! I think designs that we want to pursue will be shortlisted within the next fortnight. At that point, the next step will be talking to artists (which might be yourself!) about getting involved and throwing your two cents in! Keep your eyes peeled!!!
